Far from the crowds, your ski touring efforts will be rewarded by the view when you reach the top and the joy of the descent. Along the way, you'll contemplate the magnificent landscape and relish the purest and simplest of pleasures, that of getting close to nature.

On your own

Always check the weather forecast before setting off. Also remember to bring a DVA (avalanche victim detector), a shovel and a probe. It is important to be at ease on skis to be able to come down safely. If you have any problems call 112 or +33 4 79 00 01 80.
