Accessible tourism

In Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, we make it a priority to ensure all visitors feel welcome. In the village and on the ski slopes, you'll find adapted facilities for the convenience and safety of all users.

Equipment at your disposal

To help you get around the resort, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville Tourist Office provides disabled visitors with a wheelchair and Massarotti skis. Alternatively, wheel blades are available on loan, to avoid getting your wheelchair stuck in the snow.

Limited availability. For more details or to reserve equipment, please contact the Tourist Office.

Activities for all

In winter, the ski schools provide lessons designed specifically for people with mobility issues. Each year, instructors who are trained in adaptive skiing techniques and teaching methods accompany participants on sit-skis, standing skis or tandem skis, offering them the opportunity to fully enjoy the pleasures of skiing. We recommend you get in touch and book well ahead of your stay.

In summer, the mountain Guides Bureau organises guided excursions in Quadrix all-terrain wheelchairs and joelettes (downhill only).

Adaptive hiking

In summer, the 'Plan de l'Eau' trail provides a specially adapted route for use by wheelchair users. This wide, smooth and gently-sloping trail is ideal for a short and pleasant outing. Along the way you can stop for a break at the picnic area with seats. It'll take you less than an hour to cover the full 600 metres.
