Introduction to bee keeping

Discover the wonderful world of the Savoy bee colonies and learn about the conservation of these beautiful hives, sentinels of ecosystem health. Slip into your protective outfit and light the smoker to explore the inside of the hive and observe the bees. You can also visit the Dark Bee and Nature House where you'll learn about the importance of this endemic species and the dangers that threaten it.

Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm, and Friday from 10am to 12 noon. Prior booking required. Age 5 and up. Suit and gloves provided. Long trousers and closed toe shoes essential.
