A family affair and a passion for cooking
Open for four years, L'Eskis is the result of a family collaboration between Edgar, the head chef, and his father-in-law Éric, the owner of the property. Originally from Savoy, Edgar grew up in a world where cooking was central, nourished by the culinary traditions of his region and his many seasons in the restaurant industry.
Talking about his career, Edgar reflects on the moments he spent as a child, preparing hearty Savoie dishes alongside his grandmother. Those memories have strongly influenced his cooking. Nowadays, surrounded by a loyal team at L'Eskis, he prepares a generous menu of straightforward dishes for which every ingredient has been carefully selected.
Authentic taste and local products
Because it cares about the quality and origin of the ingredients, L'Eskis sources them from the local region. The meat comes from Chambéry, while the cheese and charcuterie is carefully selected from a food artisan in Les Menuires.



These high standards are reflected in the restaurant's iconic dishes, such as Royans gratin, mushroom soup en croûte and diot sausages with polenta. The burgers, which have become the restaurant's speciality, come in several versions to appeal to all tastes.
Each year, Edgar innovates, adding new dishes to the restaurant menu. This winter, he has reinvented a great British classic, fish & chips, in an alpine version using trout, which is already a great success.
