Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is offering a fresh selection of activities this summer. From outdoor adventures and moments of relaxation to local discoveries and refined food experiences, here are the season's highlights.

The Freestyle Event of the Summer
- Freestyle Tour on 2 and 3 August 2025, the skatepark and pumptrack in Les Menuires will host a competition in skateboarding, rollerblading and scootering. Reserved for experienced riders, the event combines technical performance with a lively, welcoming atmosphere.
Outdoor Activities to Unwind
- La Belle Vie a new wellness centre in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Facilities include an indoor pool, a 16-metre outdoor pool, a 33°C Nordic bath, a hammam, saunas and relaxation areas. The programme also features aqua fitness classes, massages and personalised treatments.
- Hike to the lakes and dinner at altitude a 10-kilometre hike leads to the Lou and Pierre Blanche lakes, followed by dinner at the Lac du Lou refuge. The meal showcases local, organic cuisine. The return walk takes place at dusk, in the soft evening light.
- A shepherd's life a half-day experience in the alpine pastures, discovering the daily life of a mountain shepherd. Follow the goats, learn about grazing techniques, and enjoy an informal aperitif with mountain views.
For Adventure Enthusiasts
- Via Cordata an introductory climbing route that blends hiking and rock climbing, accessible from age 10. The route is done in a roped team, accompanied by a certified guide, along a secured itinerary.
- Canyoning in Varlossière a new canyoning site in the wild Encombres Valley, just twenty minutes from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. The course features abseiling, waterfalls and natural slides, all under the supervision of professional guides.
- Montagne Aventure by ESF clubs for children and teenagers aged 3 to 17. A range of outdoor activities including games, sports and creative workshops, supervised by professionals. Available for half days, full days or full weeks.
A New Gourmet Address in the Village
- Le Chalet Alpain a newly opened bakery and tea room in Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Three young locals offer sourdough breads, homemade pastries and hot drinks. Morning delivery is available to nearby hamlets.
