New this summer
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville welcomes you this summer and opens its doors to you for a moment in all simplicity in the heart of the Belleville Valley. Between authenticity and novelty, let the charm of the village work...
Accommodation
This top-of-the-range Pure Valley hotel complex has really pulled out all the stops for Les Menuires. The new 4-star hotel Higalik has an impressive surface area of 6,783 m² over 10 floors and stands proudly at the entrance to the resort. This spectacular building blends into the mountains and allows visitors to enjoy breathtaking views of the peaks. Higalik means 'ice house' in Greenlandic, and this hotel offers 103 rooms, including 7 family suites for 6 to 7 people, the biggest of which has a surface area of 70 m². Right from the moment guests enter the lounge area, they are immersed in a world where modernity and tradition are harmoniously combined. The décor is simple, with genuine woodwork present in its many forms.
New this summer, the opening of the Hameau du Kashmir in Val Thorens which offers spacious premium flats for 4 to 6 people and a range of activities, including a swimming pool, a relaxation area, massages, a lounge and bar, a restaurant and yoga classes. The accommodation is roomy, modern and ideally located at the foot of the hiking trails.
For sportspeople
A major new feature of the year is the sports and cultural centre of Val Thorens: the 'Board'. It is so named after the snowboard-shaped roof and will be open throughout the summer to the delight of adults and children alike. With its swimming pool, water fun area, Funpark (one of the largest in France), multi-sports activities, and fitness and wellness centre, there is something for everyone! Located in the heart of the resort, there is no less than 13,795 m² of indoor space dedicated to sports, leisure and aquatic activities. It is the ideal place to be if the weather is bad or to relax and have fun after a great day in the mountains.
Opened at the end of last summer in Preyerand, the new skate park is a delight for skateboarding enthusiasts! A red bowl, some basic layouts, steps, rails, pallets and pyramids... a fabulous playground to practice in complete freedom.
In the heights
Located at a bend in the road in the heart of a charming alpine hamlet typical of the Belleville valley, the mountain lodge Nant Brun reopens its doors on 1st July. Two friends, Violaine and Amandine, have decided to take over this magical place that has been closed for 4 years. It is in this grandiose setting, where there are countless possibilities for hiking or mountain biking, that holidaymakers can take a well-deserved break. Lunch, dinner or an overnight stay, everything is possible! The restaurant is simple and family-oriented, with a focus on local, fresh and seasonal products. The decoration has been reworked to their taste, allowing them to offer themselves, under the benevolent gaze of the two young women, an enchanted interlude in a real cocoon of softness.
In the heart of the village
The valley's first microbrewery Brava Vela has appeared in Le Châtelard, a village in the heart of Belleville. Housed in a former goat farm, Julien and Sophie brew beers in a way which is in line with the values they uphold, namely a sense of commitment, authenticity and local expertise. Their range is appropriate to their location and the beers' evocative names reflect their links with the mountains and the three areas which surround them. This is illustrated by 'La Masse', 'La Belleville' and 'La Thorens'. So, in conclusion, what does Brava Vela actually mean? It is simply a translation of 'Belleville' broken down into Savoie dialect. This is a microbrewery which is still making a name for itself.
