Heritage walk

The Saint-Martin-de-Belleville trail takes you through the village to discover the local heritage and the life of yesteryear. A lovely walk to do unguided, to admire the different buildings that make up the valley’s cultural wealth.

With 11 stop-off points, the heritage walk starts at the parish church. The church building, dating back to 1606, has been renovated and restored over the centuries, and today stands proud as one of the architectural gems of the village. Take the time to enter the church to admire its frescoes and statues before setting off for the other stop-off points on your route, including the communal oven, the school, the town hall and the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de-la-Vie, to learn more about Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and its rich history and traditions.
